The reliability of our management system is certified by SGS United Kingdom Ltd (UKAS certificate no. 005) according to the European standard EN ISO 9001.
MEASURING EQUIPMENT
Galbiati & Colombo is equipped with good primary and secondary machinery aimed at taking measurements at different points of the process: at entry, during the manufacturing process and on the finished product. This machinery is inventoried, managed and checked according to the EN ISO 9001 standard requirements. The main types of measuring equipment at our company are:
- Vernier callipers (digital, analogue, allowing precise readings up to 1000 mm all the way through to 0.01mm)
- Outside micrometres (from 0 to 50 mm – precisely up to 0.001 mm)
- Inside micrometres (from 4.5 to 50 mm – precisely up to 0.001 mm)
- Altimeters
- Comparators
- Roughness meter
- Durometer
- Microscope
- Profile projector
- Smooth P/NP pads and rings
- Threaded P/NP pads and rings

DOCUMENT CONTROL
By customer request, G&C is in a position to submit initial samples following the PPAP, and to provide product certification through control certificates drawn up according to the UNI EN10204: 2005 “Metallic products” standard.
